Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
Featuring the first overall selection at the 2009 NHL Entry Draft, we have a puck used by superstar John Tavares to score his 27th goal of the season, which also served as his 299th career goal, from the Jan 5, 2019 match vs Vancouver. Scored at 8:54 of the first to put the Leafs up by one and assisted on by Morgan Rielly and Connor Brown, the goal served as the game winner, with Toronto blowing out the Canucks at home, 5-0. An official game puck showing nice game-use with Leafs and NHL logos, tape has been added along the side with the particulars handwritten including the date, score and Tavares’ #91, with a Real Sports decal also affixed. The puck will come in a Leafs’ “Collector’s Item” case (with NHL decal) with paper insert listing all of the important details, sealed in the original plastic bag with a bar code price label affixed from the Leafs’ team store.
