Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2020
The 10th overall selection at the 1993 NHL Entry Draft, Jocelyn Thibault guarded the crease of six different NHL clubs, with the netminder having the distinction of being the last goaltender to win at the Montreal Forum. This Canadiens jersey was worn by the Montreal native in 1996-97. Sporting a CCM “Goalie Style” label and size “54” fly tag along the collar, embroidered CCM and NHL crests are situated over the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, the red V-neck has been accented with “41” in white-over-blue tackle twill over the sleeves and verso, with “Thibault” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. In gorgeous condition, showing just very light wear, the fight strap does show evidence of being washed. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, a signed LOA from Rejean Houle will accompany.
