Jaromir Jagr led the way as captain of a potent 2000-01 Penguins offense that boasted 95-point scorers Alex Kovalev and Martin Straka, and Mario Lemieux, who had 76 points in half a season. Jagr, who scored 52 goals, led the NHL with 121 points to claim his fourth straight Art Ross Trophy, his fifth overall. He wore this 2000-01 Penguins game-worn captain’s jersey on Jan. 27, 2001 when he scored a goal and had two assists in Pittsburgh’s 5-1 win against Atlanta. “68C” and “1/27”, for the date of the game, are written in black marker on the size 56 flag tag in the neck. Game wear includes red paint transfer on the lower right sleeve and black marks on both sleeves and the right front tail at the hip.
