This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/30/2021
A number of items signed by Montreal’s blond demon, this Guy Lafleur collection include’s a signed jersey, stick, vintage helmet and skates and a trio of framed photos, along with two additional pairs of endorsed model skates (unsigned). First, the jersey is a CCM model with tackle twill team crest and numbers, with Guy signing the reverse “1”, with some minor bleeding. Next, the helmet is a late-1960s Cooper Weeks model – similar to what Guy wore in junior, signed in black marker, while the stick is a Sher-Wood PMP 5030 identical to the model he used (this is a generic Sher-Wood, not a Lafleur model), signing in blue marker near the heel. The photos include two glossy framed prints (9” x 11” and 12 ¼” x 15 ¼”) along with a framed Dimanche/Derniere Heure picture (12 ½” x 15”), with each sporting a flawless marker signature. A hologram is affixed to the jersey, with a COA to accompany.
The signed skates are vintage 1960s Bauer models that show moderate to heavier wear, with Guy signing just the right skate in silver, with the signature displaying well. The additional pairs are both endorsed Bauer models (one is child’s size) with facsimile signatures, with just light wear to the pairs. The helmet shows moderate use, with the stick taped and used by an unknown player.
