The Flyers thought so highly of veteran defenceman Ed Van Impe that he was presented with this 1975-76 Clarence Campbell Bowl championship trophy even after he was traded to Pittsburgh late in the regular season. Van Impe had eight assists in 40 games with the Flyers when he was dealt to the Penguins on March 9, 1976. Philadelphia went 51-13-16 to win the Western Conference title and claim its third straight Campbell Bowl. "Philadelphia Flyers 1975-76 Ed Van Impe" is engraved on one side of the two-handled lidded bowl in silver plate with "Clarence S. Campbell Bowl 1968" on the other side. The trophy stands 11" tall overall. Van Impe has signed in marker on the bare wood bottom of the 3" tall base. Comes with Ed Van Impe's signed LOA. Very nicely preserved with a few small areas of tarnishing. The removable lid has a light layer of remnants of an adhesive/sealant on the inner lip.
