Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
Three important pieces of pre-NHL lumber wielded by HOF superstar Eric Lindros while representing the mighty maple leaf are offered, with Eric representing the Canadian National Team in 1988-89, 1989-90 and 1991-92, along with at the 1990 and 1991 IIHF World Junior Championships. All Titan models, each has “Lindros” over the upper shaft, with each retaining its white tape over the blade and gauze-style over the custom-shaved handle. One example feature’s a handwritten “8” over the handle (a number Eric wore with the National Team at some point), with a second model identical to the type used by Eric at the 1992 Winter Olympics (with a blue taped knob – not red). The third stick has been painted over black removing all identifiers (except “Lindros”). A signed LOA from Eric Lindros will accompany.
Each stick exhibits great use, with wear to the blades (including age spotting to the tape) and lower shafts, with the number “8” stick showing a small chip along the top edge of the blade.
