Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
Originally a product of the OHL’s Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, netminder Dan Cloutier appeared in both the NHL and AHL, and is currently a goaltending coach for the Vancouver Canucks. This NY Rangers jersey was worn by the Mont-Laurier native during the first half of the 1998-99 NHL season. Starter labeling along with a “58-G” swatch are affixed to the collar, with embroidered Starter and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with “Rangers” placed diagonally across the chest in dual-colour drop-shadow tackle twill, the “Blue Set 1” jersey has been accented with sleeve and verso numbers in matching material. Game-wear is light, with a few marks present, including over the right sleeve and on the reverse numbers, with some paint transfer also present near the right elbow. A pair of team patches sit on the inside hem, with a team LOA to accompany, along with a COR from MeiGray.
