Geno and the Kid. Talk about a one-two punch! Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin have led the Pittsburgh Penguins to three Stanley Cup wins while amassing a hoard of NHL awards and honors between them. This fantastic lot features two signed framed displays, each one featuring one of the Pens’ two superstars. Malkin signed in bold blue marker below his image on the ice in a fantastic overhead shot featured in his 29 1/2" x 30 1/2” frame. Sid the Kid signed in gold paint pen on a Penguins program cover featured in display commemorating his first home opener on October 8, 2005 which is mounted in a 22” x 29 1/2” frame. Comes with a COA for each signed framed display.
The Malkin frame features a 16x20 photo with a Frameworth hologram sticker affixed to the bottom right corner which is displayed within a frame with “Evgeni Malkin, Pittsburgh Penguins” and an image of the exterior of Mellon Arena etched at the bottom.
The Crosby frame features the signed program on the right, a Penguins 2005-06 home opener ticket with images of Crosby and Mario Lemieux in the middle, and a photo of Crosby on the left, with a Crosby 2005-06 commemorative coin displayed below the ticket and above a gold-colored plaque at the bottom that reads, “Pittsburgh Penguins – Opening Night, Mellon Arena – October 8, 2005”.
