Spending 157 of 250 National Hockey League games played in the uniform of the Calgary Flames after defecting from then Czechoslovakia and before he was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins where he would win a second and third career Stanley Cup, offered here is this Calgary Flames jersey worn by Jiri Hrdina during the 1990-91 season that was then recycled for Marc Habscheid's use during his swan song NHL season of 1991-92. Made by CCM, a lone Maska Air-Knit label displaying a faded size "50" designation in blue ballpoint ink is affixed to the inner collar while both the NHL shield and CCM logos have been embroidered into the reverse hem. Decorated over the front of the bright red garment with a Flames team crest in layered tackle twill, the NHL's 75th anniversary patch that was worn by all the league's teams throughout the length of the season has been placed over the right breast. Of note, it is unclear as to whether this jersey saw use during the 1991-92 regular season by Habscheid or was simply worn by him during the preseason and patched as a backup afterwards as Calgary didnt wear the 75th anniversary crest during preseason play. Accented over the sleeves and verso with Habscheid's number "17" in dual layer white-over-yellow tackle twill numerals, "Habscheid" is spelt out in matching style letters across the affixed matching nameplate at the top of the reverse while evidence of the formerly affixed Hrdina nameplate can be found on the interior. With the fight strap cut out from the interior, the jersey exhibits game-wear in the form of stick marks over the front, reverse and both sleeves while the latter of the two (2) areas also show wear in the form of board burns and a few unrepaired small holes. Displaying a small purple coloured board paint transfer mark over the right elbow, light pilling is also of note at the elbows on the interior.
