Nicknamed "America's Most Beloved Ballpark" and "The Cathedral of Baseball", Fenway Park has been a part of Red Sox history since opening its doors to the Beantown faithful on April 20th, 1912. Having hosted the World Series a total of eleven (11) times throughout its lifespan, with the Red Sox winning six (6) of them and the Boston Braves winning one (1), the beloved ballpark has also been the site of many other sporting and cultural events including professional football games for the Boston Redskins, Boston Yanks, and the Boston Patriots; concerts; soccer and hockey games (such as the 2010 NHL Winter Classic); and political and religious campaigns as well. Added to the National Register of Historic Places for its 100th birthday in 2012, offered here is this pair of seats that were once in place inside the ballpark. Measuring roughly 46" x 34" at its widest and tallest points, the blue and red coloured chairs are mounted on black plastic feet and were in place in the suite area behind home plate that is now known as the EMC Suite Level. Installed in 1995 and removed after the Red Sox's World Series win in 2007 while also being in place for the 2004 World Series as well in which the Red Sox ended their 86-year winless drought, the chairs feature blue coloured frames/backs constructed of either metal or plastic and red leather cushions that remain in excellent condition with no rips or tears to speak of and no flaws other than a bit of creasing and need for a cleaning from age. Also sporting cup holders on two (2) of the three (3) arms and marked as seats number "2" and "3" of the row according to their identification plaques on the edge of each fold up base, both seats remain in excellent condition with some marks and abrasions over the plastic backs from use and some light paint chipping/surface wear over the frames from age. A perfect piece for any Red Sox fan looking to bring the ballpark into their home, a Red Sox team LOA will accompany the piece. Please note that due to the size and/or weight, special shipping arrangements may be required.
