Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2020
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/20/2020
Classic collectibles here are a low grade gathering salvaged from a scrapbook, with however completeness an attribute, along with a nice-to-look-at Maurice Richard rookie card. The well-centered apparent crease-free example has paper loss on the reverse (similar to three dozen others) that contributed to PSA’s FR 1.5 grade but it displays better than a creased Terry Sawchuk RC, slabbed GOOD+ 2.5. A trim job (bottom edge) to the Gordie Howe rookie is obvious and we spot short or narrow examples of #1-Lach, 52-The Winning Goal, 55-Kelly RC and 68-Pronovost RC. Most cards have tape stains on the front and/or a white substance. Leading the nicest-to-look-at raw cards are Harvey, Lindsay and Rayner. Please see our website for more images – a complete ’51-52 Parkie set is interesting in any condition.
