Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
A Stanley Cup champion with the Montreal Maroons in 1935, Earl Robinson was also one of the honoured players to take part in both the Howie Morenz and Babe Siebert memorial games. We have a signed 1933-34 World Wide Gum Ice Kings card of the Montreal native, with this example encapsulated and certified “AUTHENTIC AUTO” by PSA/DNA. Signed to the left of his image in pencil, the signature displays well, with the card itself in low grade, with corner wear, staining and creasing. The reverse has also been heavily damaged, with some text obscured, with glue residue from prior scrapbook removal. Robinson left us at the age of 79, in 1986.
