Great pair of Carey Price’s goalie gloves includes his 2009-10 Canadiens game-used Vaughn blocker, which is photo-matched to the Habs’ “Centennial Game” at Bell Centre on December 4, 2009. Price’s Vaugh Velocity 7500 blocker is photo-matched to over 10 Getty Images photos from early December 2009 through early February 2010, including three photos from the milestone game, when the Canadiens celebrated their 100th anniversary with a 5-1 win over the Boston Bruins. This red, white and blue beauty with “Price” embroidered in white thread on the back cuff is a museum-worthy piece of Habs history! It and Price’s signed practice-used Vaughn trapper each have the team sale price tags attached.
Price’s Centennial Game blocker has nice game use that includes really good wear on the palm of the glove. A number of various black marks on the game-used blocker are matched to Getty Images photos numbered #93962304, #94175565 and #94175800 from the Habs’ “Centennial Game” on December 4, 2009. The blocker is also photo-matched by a number of various black marks to Getty Images photos on December 16, 2009 (#94568341), December 17, 2009 (#94735575), January 5, 2010 (#95625924), January 14, 2010 (#95876368), January 16, 2010 (#95818958), January 20, 2010 (#96188118), January 27, 2010 (#96219425), and February 1, 2010 (#96339929).
Price has signed in blue marker on the white portion of the back cuff of his trapper glove, which is nicely worn in with various black marks and wear to the front edges. “Price Practice” is embroidered in white lettering above the red-thread embroidered Vaughn logo on the thumb side of the back cuff.
