Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
From the pinnacle of Brett Hull’s amazing Hall of Fame career where he managed four consecutive 100-point seasons, we have the Belleville native’s St. Louis Blues captain’s jersey worn in the 1993-94 NHL season, and it’s been photo-matched. A Maska Air-Knit label along with size 52 fly tag remain affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests on the back bottom hem along with a cut fight strap. Featuring custom-lengthened sleeves and styled with an attractive vinyl and twill blue note team crest, the solid white sweater has been accented with tri-colour numbers and captain’s “C”. A hologram from BlueNote Authentics resides on the inside hem along with the screened-on team patch from Custom Crafted, and it divulges that this sweater is a “1st Set” example. “34156” has also been handwritten on the inside hem. An LOA along with a COR from MeiGray will accompany.
Game-wear on the desirable sweater includes a number of stick marks on the lower front, along with additional marks over each sleeve as well as two small holes on verso. Regarding the previously mentioned photo-matches, an included photo has been matched to the dark marks within, and along the top left section of the “6” on the right sleeve, to the visible threading along the top left potion of the captain’s “C”, and to the dark mark on verso on the lower striping band visible just above the CCM crest.
