Vincent Lecavalier's Early-2000s Tampa Bay Lightning Game-Used Stick. The first round pick in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft as chosen by Tampa Bay, Vincent Lecavalier wasted no time in showing the Lightning management that their decision was a wise one, averaging just-under 50 points each in his first three seasons. This Nike Ignite model graphite stick was used by Vincent at this time in the early-2000s. An abundance of use is immediately apparent with considerable wear to the shaft’s composite material. The blade and knob still retain their original tape jobs, with the blade now missing a few strands. “Lecavalier” is stamped onto the inserted Sher-Wood blade which also shows a number of black stick and puck marks, and there is also some slight separation to the wood at the very tip. This in no way though detracts from the stick’s display value. Pat Verbeek's Mid-to-Late-1990s Dallas Stars Signed Game-Used Itech Stick. The only NHL player in history to record both 500 goals and 2500 penalty minutes, Pat Verbeek has been involved in pro hockey for over three decades now, including 20 seasons spent as a player. This mid-to-late-1990s signed Itech stick has been extensively game-used, with numerous black streaks to the edges of the shaft from contact with other sticks. The original tape job is still in place on the blade of this GPH 9009 model, and the upper shaft and knob still retains its white, but now discolored gauze-style tape. Pat has added a nice dark blue marker autograph to the lower part of the shaft, just above the heel. Keith Tkachuk's Late-1990s Phoenix Coyotes Signed Game-Used Louisville Stick. One of only five members of the elite American-born 500 goals club, Keith Tkachuk was routinely a thorn in the side of the opposition with both his aggressive physical play, and his goal scoring prowess. This Louisville TPS graphite model stick was employed by Keith in the late-1990s, when his numbers were reaching their zenith. Stamped “Tkachuk” on the upper shaft with his “7” applied in marker, extensive game use is shown with considerable wear to the shaft’s edges throughout the length of the stick. Both the blade and upper shaft/knob retain their original tape jobs, and Tkachuk has placed a nice and dark black marker autograph to the lower shaft area just above the fiberglass reinforcements on the blade. An impressive, well used stick.
