Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
The only goaltender in NHL history to lose a game without giving up a goal, Mario Gosselin spent a number of seasons in his home province of Quebec with the Nords before moving on to Hartford and Los Angeles. This Kings jersey was worn by the Thetford Mines native in 1989-90. Maska Ultrafil tagging remains affixed to the collar, with handwritten “52”, along with an embroidered CCM patch on the back bottom hem. Styled with dual-colour tackle twill numbers and name-on-nameplate, the v-neck jersey also features the Kings team logo in use from 1988-1998. With just very light game-wear present, the garment remains in beautiful condition and would be ideal for display.
