With a long track record in international play for his native Finland, goaltender Tuuka Rask has been with the Bruins for a number of seasons, winning a Stanley Cup with Boston in 2011. This Beantown alternate jersey was worn by Rask in 2011-12, and it’s been photo-matched. Size 58 tagging along with a “Goalie Style” label remain affixed to the collar, along with an additional Reebok patch over the back neckline on this seldom-seen style. With stunning Bruins “bear” team crest and B-spoke shoulder patches, the “Third Set 1” garment is accented with gorgeous dual-colour tackle twill. A MeiGray patch numbered I05649 has been placed on the inside hem, and a matching LOA from the Bruins/MeiGray will accompany.
Visible game-wear is light on the v-neck sweater, with a few faint marks on the lower front, along with a few dark marks on the team crest. Regarding the previously mentioned photo-matches, Getty images 137494413 and 137494489 from Jan 21st 2002 have been matched to the black marks on the left side of the team crest.
