Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
This unique framed display features a beautiful photo of a young Lodois Mainville in his roll as mascot of the Montreal Canadiens in 1924-25. At roughly 11 ½” x 14 ¾”, the white-bordered print has been mounted to a gray matte, with “Ladois Mainville Mascotte du “Club Hockey Canadien” champion du monde 1924-25” handwritten beneath the image. Lodois is pictured in his full Habs uniform with large stick and adult-sized gloves. The photo itself appears to be problem free, with it most likely housed in its original frame to total dimensions of approx. 17” x 21”. This is definitely an item that would fit well into any advanced antique or vintage hockey photography, or Montreal Canadiens collection.
