Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
HOF goalie Ed Belfour’s Black Hawks game-worn Warwick goalie mask is photo-matched to three of his 1995-96 hockey cards by the big chip on the chip. Ed’s trademark eagles grace each side with his customary “Make-a-Wish Foundation” design over the chin, which displays the long vertical chip in the middle that appears on Belfour’s 1995-96 Summit Ice #120, 1995-96 Ultra #365 and 1995-96 Select Certified #93 hockey cards. The Miska designs sticker remains inside the left chin, and Miska and Warwick logos are inside both ear holes. The back head-piece has custom graphics showcasing a 1941 Willys for Ed’s racing company, named after his hometown of Carman, Manitoba. The dual-colour strapping coincides with the placement of the custom graphics. The mask’s interior padding is present including the added velcro for the cloth forehead accessory, which is not included. Comes with its carrying bag and Ed Belfour’s signed LOA.
