The 2009 Montreal Centennial Auction
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/24/2009
The oval design of the 1971-72 O-Pee-Chee issue is a favorite among card collectors. With the familiar green backs and the hockey line-art cartoons, this set brings back memories. You can almost taste the gum! It is from that set that we get Ken Dryden’s first card. Dryden, a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame, led his Canadiens to a number of Stanley Cup wins during the Seventies. Beckett Vintage examiners have inspected this Dryden rookie, sealing it between two pieces of Lucite with their grade of 9.5 (GEM MINT). Please note that this card is subject to a silent Reserve.
