Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction December 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 12/13/2022
Held in Germany and France during May, with 16 nations competing, the 2017 IIHF World Championships featured an exciting shootout in the final game between Canada and Sweden, with Russia taking home the bronze. We have a Team USA jersey worn by winger Anders Bjork during the two matches his nation wore their navy jerseys in the preliminary round, on May 5th (a 2-1 loss to Germany) and May 10th (3-0 win over Italy). An IIHF label with “60” sizing is affixed to the collar, with a large IIHF patch sewn to the reverse hem. Styled with a synthetic USA team crest, “10” in matching material appears over the sleeves and verso, with sponsorship patches to each upper sleeve. Exhibiting light use, there are a few burn marks over the right sleeve. An LOA from USA Hockey will accompany.
