This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
Once awarded the Soviet Medal "For Labour Valour", Vyacheslav Anisin first starred with CSKA Moscow during the early-1970s, winning the Russian scoring title with Krylia Sovetov Moscow in 1973-74. The talented centerman would participate in the famous Summit Series, with this CCCP jersey gifted to superstar Swede Anders Hedberg when the pair exchanged sweaters during the early-1970s while competing at the IIHF World Championships. Sporting no labeling and measuring-out to roughly a size 42, “CCCP” is sewn to the chest in individual white felt letters with “22” over the sleeves in matching material. “22” also appears over the verso of the tie-neck wool sweater in layered canvas-over-felt. A signed LOA from Anders Hedberg will accompany.
In gorgeous condition exhibiting nice game-use, there are a few dark marks visible along with a few small holes and burns over each sleeve. There is also light pilling to small areas of both the interior and exterior including the collar.
