Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/24/2021
Charming preserved artefact from the mid-1970s is this wax pack tray, with three 1974-75 Topps wax packs laying in a little cardboard "tray" and enveloped in cellophane. Yet another swell item available to American kids but not Canadian youngsters - Dr. Pepper, M & Ms, Sugar Babies, Milky Way bars - there were so many(!). The wax pack wrappers told of a Scratch-Off Game Card in every pack along with, of course, a stick of bubble gum. Orr, Dryden and Lafleur cards and rookie cards of Bowman, Cherry, Potvin, Salming and McDonald bolster Topps' '74-75 lineup, a 264-card affair. For those of you with a love affair with unopened hockey card packages, here's yet another worthy of your consideration. Examined, encapsulated and graded NM 7 by GAI, it awaits your big-time collection.
Some toning to the ends of the (tucked behind) cellophane are to mention, with the outer bottom edge (along the length of the lower edge) of the GAI holder no longer present.
