Wonderful hoard of 16 mid-2010s Montreal Canadiens pucks includes six official NHL game-used pucks and 10 official NHL practice pucks. Each puck comes with a Montreal Canadiens COA with handwritten date and opponent notations. Each COA has a Canadiens hologram sticker with a registry number that corresponds to the one placed on its respective puck.
This collection of Montreal Canadiens pucks reflects new and recent lore added to the legendary team’s great history and features multiples from each of five mid-2010s Canadiens home games at Bell Centre:
There are four Wild vs. Canadiens practice-used pucks, each with the “Lapointe 5” jersey banner logo from Guy Lapointe’s jersey retirement night on November 8, 2014; Montreal defeated Minnesota, 4-1;
There are one (1) game-used puck and three (3) Canucks vs. Canadiens practice-used pucks from the December 9, 2014 game against Vancouver, a 3-1 win for Montreal on an emotional night when the the legendary Jean Beliveau was remembered with a moment of silence one week following his passing;
There are two (2) Ducks vs. Canadiens practice-used pucks with the “Koivu 11” notation from former Habs captain Saku Koivu’s final game in Montreal, which Anaheim won, 2-1, on December 18, 2014;
There are three (3) game-used pucks from the October 21, 2015 game against the Toronto Maple Leafs; Montreal defeated Toronto, 5-3, for its ninth straight win from the start of the season. Each of the Canadiens’ wins in its 9-0 start was settled in regulation time, the longest such streak in NHL history to begin a season. The NHL record of 10 wins from the start of the season includes non-regulation time victories.
And there are two (2) game-used pucks and one (1) Canucks vs. Canadiens practice-used puck from the November 2, 1026 game against Vancouver; the Canadiens won the game, 3-0, for their 19th of a possible 20 points in their first 10 games of the season, a franchise record.
