Kevin Dineen’s photo-matched Team Canada game-worn jersey is from a silver medal effort at the 1989 world championships in Sweden. Fresh from an 89-point season with the Hartford Whalers, Dineen scored three goals and had 10 points in 10 games for Canada in Stockholm. Originally from Alan Eagleson’s personal collection, Dineen’s white and red light mesh 1989 Canada game-worn jersey has Tackla and size XL flag tags in the neck. It is photo-matched by a digital image that shows the red paint transfer mark on the left elbow. Both sleeves display black marks, red paint transfer, board burns and unrepaired burn holes with more game wear showing in marks on the front and rear tails.
A second image shows the pattern of wear on the right sleeve but the resolution is not high enough to call it a photo-match.
