Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2021
Featuring the first Slovak-born Stanley Cup champion along with the last active player in the NHL to have participated in the 1972 Summit Series, we have a pair of matching jerseys individually signed by HOF duo Stan Mikita and Marcel Dionne. Originating from NHL Heroes contests in the late-1990s and originally from the personal collection of Marcel Dionne, each jersey sports CCM labeling and “54” size tags, with partially-embroidered team crests and layered tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers. Each has signed within his respective number over the reverse, Mikita in blue marker and Dionne in black, with some bleeding into the material for the Dionne signature. Both jerseys sport light wear, with some minor staining to the sleeves on the Dionne jersey. A signed LOA from Marcel Dionne will accompany.
