Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/18/2019
Making appearances for five different NHL clubs during his career, Shawn McEachern was a Stanley Cup champion with Pittsburgh in 1992, with the Massachusetts native also representing the US internationally on several occasions, including at the World Cup of Hockey and Winter Olympics. We have an Ottawa Senators alternate captain’s jersey worn by McEachern in 1999-00, where he appeared in 69 games. A CCM label and size “56” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the lower reverse hem. Styled with a textured team crest that saw use throughout the 1990s, the white V-neck has been accented with “15” over the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with the NHL 2000 crest over the right breast and matching alternate crests over each shoulder. Marks are visible over the upper and lower front, along with faint burns over each sleeve. There are also a few additional marks over the upper reverse, as well as a bit of blue paint transfer. A COA from the Senators will accompany.
