This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
Led by Wayne Gretzky and a cast of future HOFers, the 1984-85 Edmonton Oilers opened the Stanley Cup playoffs by sweeping Los Angeles in three, followed by a four-game sweep of Winnipeg. Chicago pushed Edmonton in the conference final, but the Oilers won in six to claim their third consecutive Clarence S. Campbell Bowl. This personal Campbell Bowl trophy presented to Oilers trainer Barrie Stafford has his name engraved on the silver-plated bowl along with “Edmonton Oiler, 1984-85” with the name of the trophy and “1968” for its inception year on the other side. Nicely preserved, this fantastic memento from the Edmonton’s second Stanley Cup comes with Barrie Stafford’s signed LOA.
This wonderful lidded trophy stands 11” tall, including a six-sided wooden base with a green felt bottom that stands 3” tall. Their are a few scuffs on one side of the base.
