Classic Parkies here are in rather uniform and attractive condition, with the majority of them crease-free and falling into the VG-EX, VG-EX+, EX and EX+ grades. The key Johnny Bower rookie displays better than it technical VG+ grade, caused by notching along the top edge. Other notables include Howe and Beliveau (appears narrow) at EX, Richard at VG-EX+ and Sawchuk at VG+. The Horton and Delvecchio cards appear short, suggesting trimming, and are otherwise EX. Appealing action cards toward the end include 92-Lum Stops Howe (EX) and 99-Plante Foils Teeder (VG-EX+), with a small light back crease rendering 100-Sawchuk Stops Boom Boom VG+. We spot 16 cards, most of them commons, with a crease or rounded corners dropping them to VG or below. Cards with “Lucky Premium Card” backs total 12, with further details available on our website.
The aforementioned creased/VG or lower cards are #s 6-Bouchard, 12, 15, 17, 23, 26, 43-Kelly, 45, 50, 52, 63, 68, 83, 85, 87-Gadsby and 96-Sawchuk/Kennedy action. Cards with “Lucky Premium Card” backs are #s 1, 19, 23, 37, 44, 45, 50, 52, 60, 63, 66 and 85
