Forever remembered as the first major clash between Eastern and Western hockey powerhouses, the Summit Series' lasting legacy has been the development of a number of hockey nations, adhering to a uniformed style. These two game-issued and team-signed Brad Park Sher-Wood Tex-N-Wrap model sticks were made specifically for use in the Summit Series in 1972. Both are unused, and loaded with signatures, including Orr, Dryden, Park, both Esposito brothers and more. “July 7 1972” can be seen on both sticks under the fiberglass and below the striping stickers. Each stick also has “Park” and his number “2” stamped on the upper shafts. Oh Canada!
A total of 48 signatures are on these beautiful sticks, with each having 24. Some water damage has occurred to both, but this only infringes on a few of the autographs. Signatures include Pat Stapleton, Rod Gilbert, Vic Hadfield and Ed Johnston. With no condition problems, both sticks are ready to be mounted and enjoyed.
