Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Spring 2020

A mainstay on Broadway for over a decade, Rod Seiling donned the prominent blue sweater of the famed New York Rangers for 12 NHL seasons, which included helping to guide the club to the 1972 Stanley Cup finals. This Rangers 1994 Stanley Cup championship watch hails from the superstar’s personal collection. Sporting an image of Lord Stanley’s hardware over the dial along with a full colour Rangers shield logo and “1994”, there is currently no band, with the watch appearing to be in working order. There is a blemish over the glass covering the “5”, with a few other minor scratches and light wear visible. While we are unsure if the watch was presented to Seiling by the Rangers, the attractive keepsake serves as a wonderful memento to arguably the Blueshirts' most thrilling championship. A signed LOA from Rod Seiling will accompany.
