Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019

The swan-song season for longtime Philadelphia Flyers Bobby Clarke and Bill Barber, the 1983-84 campaign witnessed a third place finish in the Patrick Division, with Tim Kerr topping the 50-goal plateau. This particular year would also be noteworthy as just the second full season for legendary netminder Pelle Lindbergh, with the Swede seeing action in 36 contests. Hailing from that very season, we have a Flyers yearbook that has been team-signed by 35 members including Lindbergh. At 5” x 8” and featuring captain Clarke in those less-than memorable Cooperalls, the 96-page booklet is loaded with pertinent stats and team info, with the majority signing on their page/biography. Included are the aforementioned Lindbergh with HOFers Darryl Sittler and Mark Howe, along with Marsh, Kerr, Propp, Poulin, McCrimmon, Carson, Cochrane, Crossman, Dvorak, Eriksson, Flockhart, Froese, Holgren, Holt, Larocque, Sinisalo, Sutter, Taylor, Brickley, Brown, Fitzpatrick, Fraser, Hachborn, Michayluk, Smith, St-Laurent, Stanley, Stothers, Tutt, Zytynsky, and General Manager Bob McCammon. The majority of the signatures have been scripted in thin blue marker with no issues, with the Lindbergh administered over text and bold, with absolutely no loss or fading. The booklet itself exhibits expected handling wear, with surface, corner and edge wear, with some toning along with single creases over both the front and back cover.
