This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/16/2020
Appearing in the 2008 NHL All-Star Game, Mike Ribeiro dressed for five different NHL clubs during his career, including six seasons spent with Dallas. This Canadiens jersey was worn by the Montreal native in 2002-03, where he appeared in 52 games. A CCM label and size “54” fly tag are affixed to the collar, with an embroidered CCM crest over the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “71” appears over the sleeves and verso in tri-colour tackle twill, with “Ribeiro” across the affixed nameplate in single blue twill. A patch from MeiGray numbered “A02136” sits over the inside hem, and according to their population report, the jersey is a "White 1st Regular Season" example. Obtained directly from the Montreal Canadiens, an LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
Exhibiting a few dark marks over the lower front and sleeves, there is also some pilling within the left sleeve and orange paint transfer over the hem.
