Hall-of-Famer Tommy Gorman, who participated in the founding of the NHL and who either coached or managed 7 Stanley Cup championship teams in Ottawa, Montreal or Chicago, was GM of the Canadiens when he sent this letter to a Mr. Camille Laroche. It's an invitation to a cocktail party at the Queen's Hotel in honor of Roy Rogers, The Lone Ranger and other stars of the Texas Rodeo. General Manager of the Canadian Arena Company, Gorman signed the letter in black fountain pen, "T. P. Gorman". Dated September 19, 1944, the letter is in excellent condition with no tears. Gorman died in 1961.
