Two intriguing awards won by future Toronto Maple Leaf and Hockey Hall-of-Famer Harvey "Busher" Jackson as a teenager include a sterling silver hockey medal and a bronze golf medal. The hockey medal is from Jackson's first year of junior with the Toronto Marlies, with the front reading "Junior Big 4 Group Champions" and the following engraving on the back "Marlboro A.C. - 1927-28 - H. Jackson". Stamped "Sterling". The similar-size bronze medal is 1 1/2" in diameter and is engraved "Thistledown G & CC. Monthly Medal - Sept 1928 - H. Jackson". Both ancient pieces have been preserved in outstanding condition with just some very light surface scratching to mention. Formidable items for Leaf/award collectors to consider.
