The Jean Beliveau Auction- February 2005
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2005
A career Nordiques man, Alain Coté gave Quebec 10 years of solid, honest hard work and wore this white knit home jersey during the ‘86-87 season. The untagged jersey has "CCM" embroidered into the rear hem while the Rendez-Vous ‘87 patch appears on the right shoulder. Nordiques crest is sewn-on with everything else heat-pressed. Terrific game use includes dozens and dozens of stick/slash marks and general filth on the front, sleeves and shoulders. Several small holes (at least a half dozen) on the front and each sleeve went unrepaired with the only team repair being a 2-inch job above the "19" on the left sleeve. Some interior pilling near the fight strap is also of note. A LOA will be included with this nicely battered Nords jersey.
