Gorgeous dureen home white Sabres jersey will excite René Robert, French Connection and jersey collectors alike. This is the sweater René wore notably in a memorable international hockey game in January of 1976; Buffalo hosted the touring Soviet Wings and outscored them 12-6, with Robert (1 goal, 1 assist), Perreault (1G, 2A) and Martin (2G, 3A) combining for 10 points. Obtained directly from René Robert, this sweater has the fresh new tackle twill nameplate that can be seen in videotape of the game. Tagged in the neck by Rawlings in size 54, the tie-neck style jersey has a big embroidered and tackle twill Sabres crest sewn on the front, while René's number "14"s are sewn on the back and sleeves in two-tone tackle twill. Game use includes a dozen small black marks/stains on the front and a few more on each sleeve. The interior has been autographed in black sharpie behind the Sabres crest, with Robert adding his number and "French Connection". Sensational jersey will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity signed by René Robert. *startred* Our research have shown that this jersey was finally not used during the game against the Russians mentioned in the description, wee are still trying to identify when it would have been used by Robert but we know for a fact that it was not used during the 1976 game against the Russians. The jersey was still obtained directly from René Robert and will come with a LOA from him. *endred*
