Wonderful opportunity for collectors of deceased Hall-of-Famer autographs, this index card features an excellent blue ballpoint signature of "Phantom" Joe Malone, the greatest scoring machine of his era. Malone captained the Quebec Bulldogs to Stanley Cup titles in 1912 and ‘13 and with the Montreal Canadiens in the NHL's first season of 1917-18, scored an amazing 44 goals in just 20 games while playing on a line with Newsy Lalonde and Didier Pitre. In 1919-20 back with Quebec, Malone scored 7 goals in one game, still an NHL record. Elected to the Hall in 1950, Malone died in 1969.
