The Jean Beliveau Auction- February 2005
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2005
A veteran of 18 professional seasons, well-travelled Charlie Hodge wore these CCM goalie skates at the end of his NHL career. Hodge was picked up by the Oakland Seals in the original expansion draft, played three seasons there and then was claimed by Vancouver in the 1970 expansion draft. He played in 35 games during the Canucks inaugural season, posting a 15-13-5 record. The CCM Tackaberry Prolite skates show great game use but are in excellent condition and each has been autographed inside in silver ink. Joining them is Charlie's game used Northland Pro model stick. "Hodge" is stamped on the front of the shaft and a black marker autograph appears on one side. There are a couple of wraps of black tape at the handle while more black covers the blade. Nice game use with plenty of puck marks on the paddle and some slices in the blade tape. Stick is solid with no cracks. Obtained directly from Charlie Hodge, the intriguing vintage equipment will come with his signed LOA.
