The Jean Beliveau Auction- February 2005
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2005
Big impressive heavy knit jersey was donned by goaltender Jose Theodore during a brief 3-game stint with the Quebec Citadelles in the 2000-01 season, one which saw "Theo" appear in 59 games with the parent Montreal Canadiens. A "SP" company tag is in the neck along with a washing instructions tag that indicates size "58G". "SP" also appears on the outer rear hem beside an embroidered AHL patch. Everything is sewn-on including "Theodore" across the nameplate. There has been a nameplate change as others also wore #35; goalies Christian Bronsard (10 games) and Evan Lindsay (1 game). Nice game use with a few good puck marks on the front and a 1-inch run and hole just to the left of the crest on the front. Exceptional jersey worn by the guy who the following season won both the Hart and Vezina trophies in the NHL, it will come with a LOA.
