The Jean Beliveau Auction- February 2005
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2005
One of hockey's greatest dynasties clinched its fourth consecutive Stanley Cup title in May of 1979, taking the Rangers in a 5-game final, after being pushed to the limit by the Bruins in the semis. Yvon Lambert scored the Cup-winner while Bob Gainey's performance earned him the Conn Smythe. Their names are joined by the likes of Dryden, Lafleur, Lemaire, Shutt, Cournoyer and "The Big Three" on this sensational championship trophy. Standing just under 13", the coveted silver-plated award is in excellent condition, showing just slight tarnish. From a Canadiens' executive, the stunning keepsake will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
