The Jean Beliveau Auction- February 2005
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2005
An original member of the Quebec Nordiques, Bob Guindon contributed 28 goals and as many assists in 71 games in his first of three seasons with the Nords and kept his historic first year jersey as a souvenir. A Tricot Sport Maska company tag is in the neck of the terrific tie-down dureen sweater. The tri-color Nordiques crest and the numbers on the back and sleeves are all sewn-on. Shortened at the waist, the jersey also has 4-inch vertical stitching that repaired a tear on the back, in the red striping near the left hip. A series of 6 black stick marks are on the front near a 1-inch run. There are a few snags and a small team repair to the left of the Nords crest. A few black marks on the sleeves and some blue board paint at the right elbow to mention, along with a small rip at the base of the eyelets. Slight fraying around the "2" and "5" on the back. In short, a wonderful feel to this splendid piece of WHA/Nordiques history. A LOA signed by Bob Guindon will be included.
