The Jean Beliveau Auction- February 2005

Robert "Bob" Guindon had the distinction of playing on two consecutive Memorial Cup championship teams with the powerful Montreal Junior Canadiens. Guindon contributed 38 regular season goals and 7 more in the playoffs and Memorial Cup competition as Montreal beat the Regina Patricias for top Canadian junior hockey honors in 1969. This is the miniature replica of the championship trophy that Guindon received. A beautiful engraved handled cup sits atop a wooden base which has an engraved silver plate that lists each member of the championship team. Among the names are those of Gilbert Perreault, Rick Martin, Marc Tardif, André Dupont, Jim Rutherford and team captain Rejean Houle. Some tarnish to mention but the trophy has been preserved in tough-to-hope-for-nicer condition. Bob Guindon's signed LOA will accompany this special memento from a memorable junior hockey season.
