This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2005
Absolutely fabulous lot of sketches and cartoons captures players and personnel of the 1968-69 West Division Champion St. Louis Blues and will appeal to many. There are 25 prints measuring 8 1/2" x 11", with 7 of them autographed. Leading the signers is Jacques Plante. Others are coach Scotty Bowman, Al Arbour, Red Berenson, Barclay Plager, Jim Roberts and Camille Henry. All but Henry (ballpoint) signed their respective prints in black marker. Highlighting the rest are Doug Harvey, Jean-Guy Talbot, Terry Crisp, Bob Plager, GM Lynn Patrick, the Salomons and Noel Picard. Others include St. Marseille, Ecclestone, McDonald, Keenan, McCreary, Sabourin and Cameron. There's also another framed (different) caricature of Picard, from whom we obtained these beauties. "Amour" is the name of the artist. Pieces are in gorgeous near mint condition with no creases and ready for framing and/or display. A scarce set in its original envelope, it'll be accompanied by a LOA signed by Noel Picard.
