The Jean Beliveau Auction- February 2005
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2005
Following a trade from Quebec to Indianapolis in February of 1976, Michel Parizeau helped the Racers down the stretch, potting 13 goals and 28 points in 23 games, as Indy copped the WHA's East Division title, edging Cleveland by a single point. Members of the team coached by Jacques Demers received gold rings as mementos. A big zircon, an image of a hockey rink and "Division Champions" are on the face of this 10K gold ring. One shank has "1976" on a banner above the WHA logo while the other features the Racers logo, "Parizeau" above and his number "16" below. Stamped "10K" on the inside of the band, the size 10 ring shows wear but remains a terrific WHA keepsake. Michel Parizeau's signed LOA will be included.
