The Jean Beliveau Auction- February 2005
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2005
Gorgeous piece of World Hockey Association history is from the 1977 WHA All-Star Game played at the Hartford Civic Center on January 18th. Representing the Indianapolis Racers, Michel Parizeau helped the East (coached by Indy's Jacques Demers) beat the West 4-2 in front of 10,337 fans. The white mesh jersey has a Gerry Cosby tag in the neck and measures out to size 48. Everything is screened-on except for the blue and red tackle twill "6"s on the back and sleeves, and "Parizeau" which is sewn directly onto the shirt (no nameplate). Light game use here and just about like-new condition. Tempting jersey will be accompanied by Michel Parizeau's signed letter of authenticity.
