The Jean Beliveau Auction- February 2005
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2005
Signed as a free agent by the Cincinnati Stingers in December of 1978 after the Indianapolis Racers folded, Michel Parizeau closed out his 7-year WHA career wearing Cincy's yellow and black. Michel's yellow mesh jersey has a Russell Athletic tag in the neck along with a Koch Sporting Goods tag. The crest, numbers and striping are all screened-on while "Parizeau" in black tackle twill letters is sewn onto the mesh nameplate. With a garter-style fight strap, the jersey shows significant game use with over a dozen black stick/slash marks on the front, one of them resulting in a 2-inch slice. The sleeves, notably the left, exhibit marks and burns with a small hole on the right sleeve. The size "L" jersey is another classic from WHA veteran Michel Parizeau's collection and will come with his signed LOA.
