The Jean Beliveau Auction- February 2005
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2005
An original member of the Quebec Nordiques and a man who played in each of the World Hockey Association's seven seasons, Michel Parizeau donned this fabulous first year Nordiques jersey during the WHA's inaugural season. Parizeau contributed 25 goals and 73 points in 75 games. His sensational red, white and blue dureen jersey is by Maska with a company tag in the neck beside a washing instructions tag. The tri-color Nordiques crest on the front as well as the numbers on the sleeves and back are in tackle twill and sewn-on. Game use includes 8 black stick marks on the front, a few more on the sleeves, a half-inch team repair on the left sleeve between the "1" and the "2", a partially repaired hole on the back to the left of the "1" and a 2-inch vertical repair between the numbers on the back. Tie-down jersey is in striking condition and will excite WHA/jersey collectors. The rarity will be accompanied by Michel Parizeau's signed LOA.
