This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2005
Presented annually to the player on each Canadian NHL team who accumulates the most points awarded for the Molson 3-star selections, this ‘86-87 Toronto Maple Leafs award was presented to Rick Vaive. In what turned out to be his last season in Toronto's blue and white, Vaive reached the 30-goal mark for the 7th straight year while running his goal total as a Leaf to 298. A big 9" in diameter bowl with "Molson Cup" engraved on the front sits atop a hockey puck and 9" square wooden base. The plaque on the base is engraved "Rick Vaive - 1987 Winner - Toronto Maple Leafs". In excellent condition with light tarnish and a few light scratches on the bowl, the trophy will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity signed by Rick Vaive, one of Toronto's most prolific right wingers of all-time.
