The Jean Beliveau Auction- February 2005
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/22/2005
And what a career it was! More than by just lofty numbers, Jean Beliveau's career was marked by his elegance and leadership, and the respect and admiration he earned. This breathtaking career tribute ring features a raised miniature gold Stanley Cup on the white gold tableau in which 22 diamonds are set. "Montreal" is above and "Canadiens" below while 4 diamonds are at each side. An image of the original Forum is on one shank with a banner above it that lists Beliveau's "1953-71" years with the red-white-and-blue. Above the banner is "Coupe Stanley Cup Champions". The opposite shank features a nice enameled Canadiens logo with "Beliveau" above and his number "4" below. Recently reproduced by Josten's in 10-karat gold with all proper markings on the interior band, the size 10 memento is in brilliant near mint condition. Representing years and years of work and dedication, the tantalizing treasure will be accompanied by Jean Beliveau's signed LOA.
